summer romance
a breeze turns the pages
of her book
ripe plums
picked under a half moon
I saved you some
another thunderstorm
his grey sweatshirt
warm from the dryer
you took the words
right out of my mouth
wild blackberries
the widower's yard
turkey poults
gleaning bird seed
sense of dread
following voices of crows
down to the river
creeping fog
the cricket's music
slower
water lilies
we don’t notice at first
all the frogs
new moon
a barking dog
becomes an owl
meteor shower
birthday
all those wishes
for Mom
boat show parking
osprey hovers over
a sea of cars
