flight delay
scanning the runways
for a snowy owl
two robins
hunkered down in the garden
late winter gale
cold snap
smiling as I pack
my bathing suit
such longing
finally in full bloom
red amaryllis
snow flurries
crows calling back and forth
the only sound
forecast of snow
forsythia boughs budding
in a Chinese vase
snow moon
plum branch blooming
in my kitchen
gray squirrel
making its mark
fresh-fallen snow
two crows
pecking at road salt
hunger moon
hunger moon
gnawing on old thoughts
all night
across the river
revealed by bare branches
a pink house
