Galilean moons
the perfect clarity
of hindsight
desire lines
a long V of cormorants
streams past the moon
darkening clouds
the click of mah-jongg tiles
on a card table
first light
on the tops of the spruces
orioles
the tremble of leaves
in a passing shower
migrant warblers
the grapes
beginning to purple . . .
orioles
waning day moon
a grey strand of my hair
twists in the wind
lobster moon
new coils of rope fill
half the stacked traps
morning moon
the ocean washes
our faces
harvest moon
the lights of tuna boats
wait offshore
first touch of frost
my long shadow
flushes a butterfly
