freshly raked lawn
its potential revealed
to the crow
sun in the window
morning luxury
of blackberries
washing the car
splattered with mud
this spring rain
not realizing
how much I missed him
song sparrow
raking the lawn
around the snow
spring fever
after midnight
distorted apparition
of the rising moon
laughing gulls
outlaughed by two women
happy hour
shells at low tide
finding the constellation
that points to home
parula singing
in a thousand-year-old tree
cypress swamp
stopping
to let a turkey cross
island bike ride
before moonrise
eyes of island deer glowing
in our headlights
